Jeff Raizner is an acclaimed attorney who is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and his trial practice includes the representation of plaintiffs in maritime personal injury, international and trans-national personal injury, including overseas work and holiday injury claims, and insurance bad faith. In this interview, he discusses his firm’s ongoing case against KBR Inc., which was sued by ex-members of the Indiana National Guard who have accused KBR of knowingly exposing employees and the soldiers protecting them to cancer-causing dust at an Iraqi worksite in 2003. KBR sought to conceal the contamination and, once it was discovered, to limit exposed individuals’ knowledge about the level of poisoning they had suffered, the soldiers claimed.

Jeff’s personal injury practice also includes the representation of Jones Act and foreign seaman in disputes arising in U.S. waters and around the world. He represents a number of U.K. residents injured in the U.S. on holiday, as well as working people from various countries who have been injured as a result of the actions of U.S. companies. Jeff’s insurance bad faith practice includes the representation of workers’ compensation claimants who have had their claims delayed and denied by their insurers and adjusters. In addition, Jeff has represented policyholders against domestic liability and excess insurers, and in transnational coverage disputes against U.K. and E.U. underwriters and company market insurers. A graduate of Tulane University and the University of Houston Law Center, Jeff is a member of various legal organizations and a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer.

Alan E. Tannenbaum is a nationally prominent attorney who oversees his firm’s trial section, and coordinates the firm's community association practice. In this interview, he provides excellent analysis concerning his lawsuits against Coast Bank Of Florida on behalf of borrowers whose homes were being built by failed builder Construction Compliance Inc. The suits claim the bank committed fraud and breached its fiduciary duty by allowing the homes to be sold to investors with no money down in return for promised profits once the homes were sold.

Alan also has 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer and advisor in the areas of construction law, community association law, insurance defense, personal injury, civil rights, covenant enforcement, foreclosures and collections. He received his B.A. (Cum Laude) from the University of Miami in 1975 and his law degree from Florida State University in 1978.
