Brian McKeen is a highly talented and professionally distinguished attorney who began practicing law in 1982. During his career he has become a powerful advocate for his clients and one of the foremost medical malpractice attorneys in Michigan. He currently sits on the executive boards of the Michigan Association of Justice (MAJ) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). For AAJ, Brian serves as the chair of the Professional Negligence Section and co-chair of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group. He is also a former co-chair of the AAJ’s Medical Negligence Exchange Group. Since 2001, McKeen & Associates has generated the year's top verdict in Michigan four times, including securing the state's largest medical malpractice verdict on record in 2001, when a jury rendered a verdict award of $55 million in the case of Hall v. Henry Ford Health System. Brian discusses this case and provides compelling information about the people involved and the impact of these events among the public. Under Brian’s leadership, McKeen & Associates also topped all Michigan verdict awards in 2002, with an award of $22.5 million in the case of Blazo vs. McLaren Regional Medical Center, et al; in 2006 with an award of $16 million in the case of Lowe, et al. v. Henry Ford Health System; and in 2007, with an award of $35 million in the case of Oppenheim v. Aeneas C. Gulney.
Geoffrey Fieger is one of the most successful trial lawyers in the country. He has published scholarly articles on the law and is constantly in demand as an expert for high-profile media trials. His charismatic personality made him the star of the Fox series Power of Attorney and of the CBS radio program, Fieger Time. In June 2008 after almost three years, Fieger, represented by the legendary Gerry Spence in his final trial, won his own court battle against the Gonzales/Rove/Bush Justice Department when he was acquitted on all counts of alleged illegal campaign donations. Geoffrey talks about this case and its importance, offering compelling insight and legal analysis. Geoffrey also appears regularly on CNN, Fox, MSNBC and other networks commenting on various legal issues and cases. After three decades of practicing law, he is best known for winning trials. He has won more multimillion-dollar awards than any other attorney in the country, including his very first trial. Some of his cases include the defense of Dr. Jack Kevorkian, the Jenny Jones Show; and the defense of Nathaniel Abraham— the youngest person ever tried for murder as an adult in the U.S. In every case and with every client, Geoffrey devotes himself to getting justice for his clients. He is a tireless and fearless champion for those whose rights have been violated. Geoffrey has two degrees from the University of Michigan (B.A., 1974; M.A.,1976) and received his law degree from the Detroit College of Law-Michigan State University (J.D., 1979). He is a member of the Michigan and Florida Bar Associations. Roger Clark is the founding member and managing partner of Clark, Goldberg & Madruga www.clarkgoldberg.com. In his more than 25 years practicing law, Roger has earned a national reputation as a successful trial attorney representing insurers, cable television providers, and small and large businesses in a broad range of business litigation matters. “My philosophy has always been that the attorneys in this law firm must be prepared not just to ‘litigate’ a case, but to try it before a judge or jury, while at the same time keeping the client’s goals and objectives squarely within our sights.” Roger is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating that can be bestowed upon an attorney.
