Guest: Michael Martin Michael Martin comes by his point of view as a writer honestly. He's a 30 year veteran as a private investigator, but his career as a writer is just getting started. He started with the downbeat short story "Down and Out, the Journal of a homeless person, barely a year ago, but that first effort got the attention of the judges at the 79th annual "Writers Digest" writing competition, where his first short story came in 8th overall in a competition with over fourteen thousand entries. "Down and Out" joins sixteen other stories making up Martin's Debut Book "Tales from the Real World." Martin's writing is uplifting in a unique way, as he writes about the reality of the world, a reality he's seen close up as a private investigator, of the issues and problems people face, from a darker side perspective.
