Tune In

William A. Cohan has litigated in federal trial and appeals courts throughout the United States for the last 30 years. He has obtained more acquittals in criminal tax cases than any attorney practicing in the United States over the last 30 years (including 2 cases involving more than $10 million), secured several multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for plaintiffs, and successfully defended against several multi-million dollar civil claims and forfeitures. The other twenty-five percent of his cases involve business disputes between individuals and non-governmental entities: he defends individuals, corporations, trusts, LLP’s, LLC’s, and partnerships in controversies concerning real estate, securities, business acquisitions, employment, banking and insurance. One essential element in William’s success over the last 30 years is and always has been investigating and discovering the larger context of a case.

Michael Minns has an impressive record of trial work that spans the country from Alaska and Hawaii to Texas, Arkansas and New York. His cases have appeared in periodicals such as the New York Times, Houston Post, Houston Chronicle, San Antonio Light, Arkansas Democrat, Arkansas Gazette, Kerville Mountain Sun, Memphis Commercial Appeal, and the nationally circulated Correspondent and Justice Times. Michael maintains a broad general law practice covering a large and varied spectrum, with a large emphasis of his professional experience as a tax defense lawyer and in filing cases against other lawyers for legal misconduct in malpractice suits. He has handled criminal law cases from misdemeanors to capital murders. His civil law cases have included landlord-tenant disputes to million dollar real estate transactions; corporate and contract litigation; personal injury suits; bankruptcy; and consumer complaints of deceptive trade practices. He has handled both civil and criminal federal income tax matters, not to mention his vast number of human rights cases.
